These strawberries have been taken to the next level of fancy!
Chocolate dipped strawberries are a classic summer treat. That perfect balance of in season fruity freshness + an indulgent crunch.
By melting white chocolate + giving a second drizzle takes them to the next level.
Punnet strawberries c 15
75g Dark chocolate
25g White chocolate
Step 1: Melt
Melt both chocolates in bowls over pans of barely simmering water, bain-marie. Or in the microwave at 600w for 30 seconds blasts. Either method watch the chocolate carefully as you don't want it to burn.
Step 2: Dip
Stab a skewer of fork through the stalk of the strawberry. This is so you can dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate + coat all of the strawberry. (If you try and just hold the stalk you can end up in a bit of mess). Dip the strawberry in the dark chocolate + place on a lined baking tray
Step 3: Drizzle
Once all the strawberries are coated in the dark chocolate. Dip a fork into the white chocolate + with a quick wrist flicking action drizzle over + the white chocolate. The quicker the flick the thinner the white chocolate lines will be.
Step 4: Set
Leave in a cool place (ideally not the fridge as this can cause condensation on the strawberries) to set.
Step 5: Serve
Serve on a pretty plate + wait for the impressed WOWs from your guests.
