When you NEED a chocolate fix .
Triple Chocolate Brownie

This brownie is so decadent and chocolatey. Has that perfect crunch topping super rich brownie studded with chocolate.

When you make a treat like this for yourself vs shop bought; you get all the pleasure of smelling it as it is being prepared + baked. you know there are no additives AND because of YOUR effort it will taste so much better.

  • 185g Unsalted butter

  • 185g Dark Chocolate

  • 85g Plain Flour

  • 40g Cocoa Powder

  • 50g White Chocolate

  • 50g Milk Chocolate

  • 3 Large eggs

  • 27g Golden Caster Sugar

Step 1: Melt

Cut the butter into small cubes and tip into a medium bowl. Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and drop into the bowl. Cover the bowl loosely with cling film and put in the microwave for 2 mins (keep an eye on it.)

Step 2: Line

Leave the chocolate to cool to room temp. While you wait line a shallow tin + preheat the oven 180c

Step 4: Mix

Sieve the flour, cocoa powder into the chocolate mixture and blend. Chop the white and milk chocolate into small chunks and add to the chocolate mixture.

Step 4: Whisk

In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and add the sugar, then using an electric whisk, beat until it is thick and creamy, c3-8mins. Then add the egg mixture to the chocolate mixture. combine

Step 5: Bake

Cook for 27 – 35 mins keep checking, you want it just set. Check by piercing the centre of the brownie with a knife if the tip comes out clean (without raw brownie mixture on) then you know it is done.

Step 6: Serve

Allow to cool to room temperature (c 30 mins) this is when it is best and cut into squares!
